Delete users

You can delete users and authors via the listing of users in the user management. Here you can pass the content of the user to be deleted to other users.

To delete a user, choose User management → Mark check box (before the user name) → Delete (one of the mass processing functions in the drop down menu below the table) → Execute. The dialog window Delete opens.

Note

If you delete a user and the system setting for Push messages or the system setting “jmx.redirect” is configured accordingly, for this user are generated no Push messages (=JMS messages). Example: The deleted user is deregistered from a run.

Delete user

You have opened the user management and the users, which you want to delete, selected, for example via filter. Then you do the following steps:

  1. Set the the check box before the user or users.
  2. Choose Delete in the drop down menu below the table.
  3. Click on the button Execute. The dialog window Delete opens.
  4. You don’t have to transfer content to other users at users. The selection field can be empty.
  5. If you click on the button Delete the user is deleted.
Note

Users, to which one of the following data files belong, cannot be deleted: training suggestions, reported needs.

Delete author

You have opened the user management and the authors, which you want to delete, selected, for example via filter. Then you do the following steps:

  1. Set the the check box before the user name of the author.
  2. Choose Delete in the drop down menu below the table.
  3. Click on the button Execute. The dialog window Delete opens.
  4. To delete an author, you have to transfer his/her content to another author. Via the button Select you get to the appropriate search mask. Select the appropriate author and confirm your selection by clicking the button Select.
  5. If you click on the button Delete, the author will be deleted and his/her content will be transferred to the selected author. This author is now owner of the appropriate content.

Note:
If administrators delete authors, Avendoo® considers the report favorites.
